If you run a small business—no matter what you sell—you're in the business of customer service.
Many small businesses have begun displaying toll-free support numbers prominently on their web sites. It's a brilliant differentiator that helps establish credibility. And, it's a great way to get feedback from customers.
Best of all, you can get started with a toll-free number for free, and maintain it for less than the cost of a large coffee.
I'm in the process of launching my first small business (we sell phone-based auction and audio tour services to art galleries), and I built Support Dashboard to help me out. I'm giving it out as free, open source software with a business-friendly license in the hopes that it'll help you too.
Support Dashboard makes it easy for small businesses to track and view their support calls. If you've already got a Twilio account and a bit of technical know-how (or a techie friend), you can get it set up and running in less than 10 minutes.
